OK WHAT IS THIS SPRINTER OR WING?

Seriously there is something wrong here when we have established Spring, had Easter and we are still waking up to snow. Now I know it is not Utah snow but for us 1 inch in the morning is alot. I mean seriously! It has been snowing and raining off and on all day today. I just want my vacation to begin so I can just ignore the chaos. I hope all had wonderful Easters. I would love to hear about them.

Spring Here?

Yeah ok keep telling me it is supposed to be spring now. We just had a snow storm here today. It snowed for about 20 minutes then stopped. Weird! I love how the weather changes here at random. I actually think it is kind of fun. I really do love the spring time though. So anyway all is good here. I am axiously awaiting spring break. A whole week of rest without work. I don't know if I can do it. To bad Adrianna and I don't have our breaks at the same time. Oh well we can still do alot of fun stuff after school. James is off at the same time I am though so maybe I'll go and spend some time with him. I love our one on one Mom and Son moments. They are so precious and I forget sometimes how quick the little ones grow up. He is going to be 14 this June and my oldest one Reed is going to be 17 on Christmas Day. WOW! Maybe Adrianna and I will take a trip down to Ocean Shores for the weekend. That sounds like fun. I saw Enchanted and Nancy Drew recently, both very cute girl movies. Adrianna, my niece Theresa, and I totally enjoyed both of them. What a fun time we had. Eating pizza, hanging out, and watching movies all night long. Total girls night. We just forgot to do facials. Well good bye for now.

SO MUCH FOR SPRING

Well now that spring is here where is the weather. It is so bloody cold here. I love it though. The flowers are in bloom, the air smells beautiful, and the birds are back with their beautiful music. Easter was realy good. The kids colored their eggs and had fun with their baskets. Adrianna and I read the story of The First Easter. It still amazes me what an amazing gift we were given at the Ultimate Sacrafice. Life is rather tame right now. Other than minor car trouble. We are coming upon spring break time. Unfortunately my week off is not the same as Adrianna's. That is ok though. I will have such a good time being able to take my time dropping her off at school and picking her up. I'll be able to plan fun activities for after school and not feel rushed to cram everything I want to do into a short time span. I am sighning up for the Y againg. Adrianna wants to take the Kids Fit For Fun which is a fittness class that includes the Rock Climbing Wall. She really loves that. I may sign her up for swimming lessons again too. I am more partial to the weights and the bike maching. Hoping I'll get back up to my old record of 9 miles. Looking forward to seeing the end results soon.

My Weekend

Wee Hoo! I wasn't to sure about my weekend. I don't do down time too well. I love to stay busy and be on the go. About the only time I ever relax is when I am sleeping. Sometimes not even then. I found this weekend to be a little of both though. I was up bright and early at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning to meet at the church and do an early morning session at the Temple. It was so nice and peaceful after the week I had. I had been struggling with a lot of feelings and decisions and I found when I came back from the Temple I had alot more clarity as to the path my life is suppose to take now. I am resolved that I will be looking for another job and that school is definately going to happen. I am going to the college tomorrow and check out some of the classes. I am torn between cooking and nursing. They both are something I really reel I could excel at. I talked to one of my clients/friends about it. She was a nurse once too, she says I can't go wrong with that. Nurses are in high demand now and I could start with just geting my certificate in Phlebotomy then work my way up. Any way those are my two choices right now. I did get to spend the weekend with my son too. I had such a fun time with him. He is such a sweet kid. I really am so very blessed to have him as my child. We picked Adrianna up from her dad today and went to church. After that when we drove back to Redmond we went and saw Horton Hears A Who. Very cute! Definately not for 14 year old boys though. Oh I also taught my first Primary Class today. They really gave me a run for my money. We;; I am ready for another adventure.

It's Finally Friday

Well that is it. I am not quiting work just yet but I am definately looking for another job. I am tired of the people I work with and I am so burned out. I feel like I am in a rut, so I am going to do some thing I want to do. I am looking into going to cooking school. I will still have to work but I can do it. Cooking is something I love to do. I have always dreamed of catering or owning my own little Cafe. I am so scared but so excited. I have only been putting this decision off for 16 years. Hey Jilly the courses are anywhere from 2-5 quarters. Not bad.

My Crazy Week

I just feel like the week has passed by so very quick. So much done and yet still so much to do. I feel like if I sleep I will miss something important. I do realize rest is required to revitilize and rejuvinate but sometimes my brain won't follow what my body says is right. Whew! I am so glad it is the weekend. Saturday will be so very restful. I am going up to Seattle early in the morning and then the whole rest of the day is mine to do with as I please, which will mean REST! Adrianna will be at her dad's so life will be a little lonely for a couple of days. They both need this time though. I am so glad Girl Scouts cookie sales will be over on Saturday too. I am really excited though, this will be my first Sunday in Primary. WOW! Work is not something I'll be thinking about too much this weekend though. I am so ready just to walk away! I am ready for a new job. Work is just getting a little to routine. Maybe it is time for Cooking School. What do you think Jilly? One more day, I am ready for the weekend

I love Sundays

I love Sundays. I always have a calming peace about me that last the whold day through. Today we had Stake Confrence. It was so amazing hearing all the Testimonies from the Stake President, his wife, Temple Workers, and the Mission President and his wife. All the beautiful voices and even one of the Elders from the Quorm of the 70 was there to bear his testimony. HOw strong was the Spirt there. I had the joy of being able to share this with my neice Sarah and Adrianna. We stuck around afterwards for the New Member meeting where I finally did it. I finally bore my testimony and how amazaing an experience to share my love and gratitude for my membership my Ward Family and all the wonderful other people I have in my life to one right choice. I am so greatful for the two beautiful missionaries that came to my door. Through that act of listening I have been blessed more than I can ever express. I am so excited only 2 more years and I can take Adrianna to the Temple to do Baptizims for the Dead. I hope that on her Birthday when we do this there will be other friends and family that will come with us to share in this blessing. I miss Utah and can't wait to come back with my daughter and see it's beauty. Jilly I mis you so much girl I hope you had a wonderful little vacation. We have been very busy this week winding up cookie sales for Girl Scouts and Activity day. Oh I am so very excited I recieved a new calling. As of next Sunday I will be teaching CTR 5. I hope I don't screw these kids up to bad. I am so greatful for this day being able to look back at all I have learned and have to be thankful for.

Adrianna's Busy Week

Well I have to say being Adrianna's mom can sometimes be exhausting but definately exciting. She has been a busy little bee since Friday. This being her Birthday weekend and week she has kept her dad and I very busy. She was supposed to go to her dads on Friday but decided she wanted to hang out with mom on Friday and watch the Bee Movie. Very cute by the way. Saturday she had me up early to go meet her dad where she spent all day with him and his wife in Seattle. Wow did she have a great time and lots to talk about. I picked her up Sunday for church. She has missed about 3 weeks and really missed her Primary Teacher Sister Masters. After that she went back to her dad's house for a suprise party. Boy this girl was spoiled this weekend. After that home again. Monday March 3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADRIANNA! She was kind of disapointed at the way her birthday turned out. It's ok though she got some amazing phone calls. Aunts, Uncles, Grandpa and Grandma, Daddy and A very special person in her life called her twice to. I think that was her favorite phone calls. Thank you Michael. She really loved that. Today she did her first outside cookie sales for Girl Scouts. She is very definately her Grandfathers Granddaughter. A natural born Sales Girl.We have one more day at least to sell cookies at the store and one more week of cookie sales over all. Wow she has really kept me busy. We are also schedualled to get our nails done as part of her birthday present and Friday evening we might even be able to breath. Whew! Only 2 more weeks and I think all the birthday stuff will finally be over. We still have my family and the friends party to do. That is the Joy of being Adrianna's mom, and what a true Joy it is too. I really am so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing little girl as my daughter.

My Friend Bethany

I really do love my friends. I love them when they are nice and even more so when not quite themselves. Probably because that is when they need love the most. My friend Bethany is one of thoes people that worries that people won't like her becauseshe is so wierd. That is what she says. I tell her I love her because of her quirks and faults thats what makes her, HER. Well this week was one of thoes weeks that she was off. The reason is her stepdad Earl McKay passed away from cancer. I was lucky enough to have the chance to meet him and Bethanys mom this last summer. You see they had just finissed an 18 month mission at Carthage Jail in Liberty Mo. Bethany has been going through the motions of loss and confusion and I don't think it will all hit her until the funeral. I pray for her peace of mind and healing of her heat. I remember that feeling of loss and confusion like it was yesterday. On a happier note, I am anxiously preparing a birthday party for my daughter. Double digits. She is sucha beautiful girl inside and out. With such a sweet and tender spirit. If Michael reads this I am sure she would love a birthday phone call from you. Her number is 253-426-5171. Later
